A Poem to My father

you were a rebel, a leader,
a listener of your own voice cuz can no one tell you differently,
you called your own shots, (wonder where i get that from)
you even knew it was your time to go, at 51 you did it all,
you had the highest of high to the lowest of lows
but yu never gave up, yu was a fighter,
stick to your own words until proven otherwise-
i admired that.

you made enemies, friends and some friends turn to enemies
but hey they couldnt hang,-i admire that too.
when God said "wrap it up" you made peace with everyone,
even tho you heard him you didn't quite believe him.
Jan 2nd your breath cutting short was your wake up call,
so this time you listened and accepted God.
you made peace with all on earth and peace with God.
He blessed you by ending your suffering

  1. In time all wounds will heal. I'm not saying you'll be 100%, because there's no replacing the hurt feeling inside. We must understand that God is here to help us along the way. As your pére dormir, be encourage that one day you will see him again. Continue to love God and follow him all the way. We love you, Andie. I love you, Andie.
